This year’s Annual Conference will be hosted by the cultural centre Flagey, Place Sainte-Croix, 1050 Brussels. Tram : 81, 83, tram stop Flagey.

Annual General Meeting for EEB members 20-21 October 2015
The Annual General Meeting (for EEB members and staff only) will be hosted by the sustainable venue La Tricoterie, 158 rue Théodore Verhaegen, 1060 Brussels. Read more about La Tricoterie’s sustainability policy on their website (available in FR/NL only)
Train: Brussels Gare du Midi station (10 min by foot)
Metro: Gare du Midi or Porte de Hal
Tram: 81, 82, 83, tram stop Bethléem.

Bike: There is a parking space for bikes in front of La Tricoterie and a Villo! station for renting bikes on Place Bethléem
How to get from the airport to Brussels city centre and the conference venue
There are up to four trains an hour connecting the main airport Zaventem with the city centre. For more information, please visit the website of Brussels airport. If you are going straight to the conference, the best thing to do is to get off at the Brussels train and metro station ‘Gare Central’. When you arrive to the station ‘Gare Central’, exit via the main entrance hall, the one facing the little square called Carrefour de l’Europe. You will see a big Hilton hotel in front of you (the former ‘Le Meridien’). Turn right on Putterie and you will see the bus stop for bus 71. Take bus 71, direction Delta and get off at the bus stop Flagey. You will see the conference building Flagey in front of you when you get off the bus.
Accommodation
We have made reservations for EEB members at Aqua Hotel Brussels, Rue de Stassart 43, B- 1050 Brussels. The hotel is located within easy reach of the different venues and close to the metro station Porte de Namur. We also recommend this hotel for other international participants looking for accommodation. If you are going from the train and metro station ‘Gare Central’ to the hotel, the best thing to do is to take bus nr 71. When you arrive to the station ‘Gare Central’, exit via the main entrance hall, the one facing the little square called Carrefour de l’Europe. How to get from the hotel to the conference venue Flagey
From the Aqua Hotel you can either walk from Porte de Namur down Rue Keyenveld and Chaussée d’Ixelles to the venue (approx. 20 min walk) or take bus number 71 direction Delta from the bus stop Porte de Namur to the bus stop Flagey.
How to get from the hotel to the AGM venue La Tricoterie
The easiest way to get to the AGM venue is to take the metro from Porte de Namur to Porte de Hal (metro lines 2 and 6). From Porte de Hal, walk down Chaussée de Forest and turn right on rue Théodore Verhaegen until you reach La Tricoterie on number 158 rue Théodore Verhaegen (approx. 10 min walk).
